BEST SAILING ROUTE IN DALMATIA

The route which connects vacation, education and good parties!

It is your check-in day in Split– known by its ancient Diocletian palace, enrolled in UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites in Europe since 1979. Another point to walk by is Sustipan, a beautiful park, a little green oasis in the immediate vicinity of Marjan and the city, the breathtaking view spreads directly towards the sea and the islands in front of Split. On Riva, there is numerous restaurant in which you can try Dalmatian specialties. After dinner, have a drink on the Riva and visit one (or few :)) of the night bars (Central Club, Charlie’sBar, Fabrique Pub…). Enjoy the D.J-s performing on the night when you are there! If you miss it, you still have the opportunity to look around on the last evening of your Holiday.

The day after, time to say goodbye to Split and say Hello to Brač! Island Brač is known for one of the most famous beaches in Croatia – Zlatni rat is situated on the south side of the island, in a little town called Bol. It will be awesome if you go and visit it while you are on your 7-day sail trip. Brač has lots of very nice restaurants (konoba) where specialties are shrimps, fish and most famous- roast lamb. People are proud of its beautiful turquoise sea color and a good nightlife.

On your 2nd day, we highly recommend to visit Island Hvar and it will be great if you can arrive early to find a berth in the same-named city –Hvar. If you are rested enough, Hvar is famous and recognizable, except its extraordinary beauty, for one of the most popular night bars in Dalmatia- CarpeDiem. Go and check it!

SKRADIN

On your 5th day, when your battery is full after resting in peaceful Skradin and NP Krka, it is a good time to visit Sibenik. Dalmatian city on the coast, known by its 4 fortresses, especially stand out Barone (from 1646. )and St. Mihovil. Also, it is known by St. Jacob’s Cathedral which is located on the seafront (Riva). During the season a lot of concerts and festivals are organized on the fortress St Mihovil, which gets you a really special experience from up there.  Barone offers you a tourist guide for sightseeing. After sightseeing, you can have dinner in a beautiful restaurant on top of the castle Barone which offers you a remarkable view. Trust me, You won’t regret it.
